At Mind Revolution Therapy, I believe that everyone deserves access to quality, affirming, mental health care - regardless of their financial circumstances.
For many people, the cost of getting support is a barrier to care in a world that already makes taking care of ourselves harder than it needs to be.
Through voluntary contributions from individual and community supporters, this fund is intended to help make therapy more financially accessible to people who might otherwise have to delay, limit, or go without the care they need.
The Community Care Fund is one small way to push back against the idea that mental health support should only be available to those who can comfortably afford it.
It's about making room for more people at the table.
It's about recognizing that needing support is part of being human.
And it's about putting our values into action.
Because when we invest in each other's well-being, we all benefit.

Because healing shouldn’t be a privilege
How it works
1. Clients Complete a Sliding Scale Questionnaire
Clients seeking financial assistance complete a confidential sliding scale questionnaire that helps determine what they can reasonably afford to pay for therapy based on their current financial circumstances.
2. Their Rate Is Locked In for Six Months
Once the questionnaire is reviewed, clients are assigned a reduced session rate that remains in place for six months. This means clients know exactly what they'll be paying for therapy, without worrying about unexpected changes in cost.
At the end of six months, clients can complete an updated questionnaire to reassess their financial circumstances and determine their rate for the next six months.
3. The Community Care Fund Helps Cover the Difference
Contributions to the fund help bridge the gap between a client's sliding scale rate and the standard cost of a therapy session.
For example:
Standard therapy session: $175
Client's sliding scale rate: $50
Community Care Fund contribution: $125
The client pays $50, and the fund helps cover the remaining $125.
4. Contributions Are Distributed Monthly
At the end of each month, all available Community Care Fund contributions are totaled and distributed toward the cost of sliding scale sessions provided that month. The fund is intended to offset the financial difference between what clients can afford and the standard session rate.
5. If the Fund Falls Short, I Cover the Rest
Here's the most important part: a client's sliding scale rate is never dependent on how much money the fund raises.
If contributions don't cover the full difference, Mind Revolution Therapy absorbs the remaining cost.
Clients will never be asked to pay more than their established sliding scale rate during their six-month approval period simply because donations were lower than expected.
The Community Care Fund helps make this work more financially sustainable, but it doesn't determine whether someone gets to keep accessing care at their approved rate.
Because Community Care Shouldn't Come With Uncertainty.
The goal of this fund isn't to make therapy dependent on donations. It's to create a way for our community to share in the work of making mental health care more accessible.
Every contribution helps reduce financial barriers, supports ongoing access to therapy, and makes it possible for Mind Revolution Therapy to continue offering reduced-cost services.
